Latte is a cerebral dog. She learns by watching and is just a smart girl all the way around. She shows how lovely black dogs are and she seems to float when she trots. She has excellent conformation. She doesn't rush to greet strangers, but hangs back for a moment to make sure all is good; that smart sense in action.

The story of her name: Latte's care family had been waiting for their puppy for a long time. They loved mama Josie and auntie Violet's chocolate color so planned on a chocolate girl to be named Latte, as stipulated by their younger son. Well, this little black girl was so breath taking, she moved ahead of any chocolate candidates. It was the 'L' litter so she had been 'Licorice' all the while, so 'Latte' was just added on.
